Make your next event unforgettable with a spectacular bellydance performance! Layla is a beautiful and engaging dancer who can get a smile and shimmy out of any audience member. Layla's performances are enhanced by a variety of bellydance props including veil, cane (assaya), candalabra (shamadan), and Isis wings (See photo gallery above). What to Expect From a Bellydance Show/Workshop
Layla will help you design a spectacular show tailored to your needs! A typical show lasts 15 to 20 minutes, beginning with a dramatic entrance piece with a veil or Isis wings, several upbeat dances full of shimmies, undulations and other exotic moves, and ends with a thrilling and fast-paced drum solo. Audience participation is strongly encouraged. Visit Layla's YouTube Gallery to see videos of past performances.
Layla also offers 10 minute bellydance performances combined with a 50 minute introductory lesson that will have everyone laughing and shimmying! This is a great option for bridal and baby showers, bachelorette parties, girls night out, employee bonding exercises, and sorority parties. The class can take place at your venue or in a dance studio.

**A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to finalize your private event booking. Please speak to Layla before making the deposit.**

- Events in central Toronto: $200
- Events in Scarborough, East York, North York, Etobicoke, or Markham: $250
- Events in Mississauga and outside the GTA: $200 + $50 per half hour of travel time
- 10 min performance + 50 min intro class: $250
- Regular restaurant or nightclub performance: $100
- A second performance within an hour of the first one is half price.
- Additional charges may apply for shows with multiple props or performances longer than 30 minutes. Prices are doubled for Christmas Eve and New Year performances.

What types of events do bellydancers perform at?
A bellydance performance is a wonderful addition to any special event, such as:
- Weddings and engagement parties
- Birthday parties, anniversaries, theme parties, family gatherings
- Corporate events: fundraisers, conferences, openings, and other functions
- Cultural events: theatrical performances, concerts, festivals
- Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs
- Bridal or baby showers
- Bachelorette parties, girls night out, and sorority parties
- Holiday parties: Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year celebrations
- Other special occasions
Venue Requirements:
- A clean change room that locks from the inside.
- Ideally, a 10 foot by 10 foot or larger space suitable for dancing in bare feet.
- Your sound system must be loud enough fill the room - a boom box is usually not sufficient for a dance performance. Layla will bring her own music.
What does the dancer need to know in advance?
- The name and phone number of the event coordinator and the address where your event is taking place. Layla also needs to know the name of the person she should speak to upon arrival at your venue.
- The type of event you are hosting and the size of the audience. Please tell Layla the cultural background of the audience, as this will help her select appropriate music for your show.
- An accurate arrival and performance time.
Are bellydance shows appropriate for children?
Absolutely! Bellydance performances are suitable for all ages. Layla can also select a more modest costume at your request.
